Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Gastrointestinal Endoscopy is a medical field focused on diagnosing and treating diseases of the digestive system, liver, biliary tract, and pancreas. Digestive endoscopy is an essential diagnostic tool for studying many gastroenterological diseases. The most common procedures performed with this technique are gastroscopy, which examines the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and colonoscopy, which visualizes the intestines. A digestive endoscopist is typically a gastroenterologist specialized in using endoscopic instruments to diagnose and treat major diseases affecting the digestive organs.

Among the most commonly performed services at our facility, we offer:

  • Gastroscopy: examination of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.
  • Colonoscopy: visualization of the intestines.
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS): imaging and assessment of the digestive tract and surrounding tissues.
  • Rectosigmoidoscopy: diagnostic examination in which the last part of the colon is investigated to check for polyps and remove them
  • Polypectomy: removal of polyps from the colon.
  • Capsule Endoscopy: non-invasive examination of the small intestine using a swallowed capsule with a camera.

These procedures are performed by our specialized team of gastroenterologists and endoscopists to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of various digestive disorders.
