The EETC was created by the University in 2003 and was subsequently recognized as an official training center by the European Society of Digestive Endoscopy and by the World Organisation in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WGO-WEO).
Since its opening, the EETC has organized more than 159 courses for endoscopists, for a total of 1,880 participants and more than 15 courses for nurses.
